There are shawarma joints, and there's Wrapstar - the one that's lowky healing relationships, lifting moods, and making kwasu night feels like a movie. What started as just food brand has now grown into a cultural phenomenon. From hilarious quotes like " My babe dey work, na me dey chop and na Wrapstar dey earn 😂" to confession of depression cured by a spicy late night shawarma, this isn't just food anymore - it's therapy wrapped in foil. But behind the flavour and fanfare lies a deeper story: one of grit, faith, and community. Here's how wrapstar went from a simple dream to a lifestyle and a little of what our treat lovers have to say ...

"My bae dey work, na me dey chop & na wrapstar dey earn"

A lady made a post with our product and captioned it "My bae dey work, na me dey chop and na Wrapstar dey earn" It's been a while since I have seen a post so specific and funny Sometimes I sit and think deeply back to the days when I started this brand Wrapstar. I know this exploits we are currently experiencing can blind but I am never going to forget how it all started. With people who loved and believed in me even when I doubted myself. We can all feel the heat from the furnace but the fire started and the flames was fanned by people who stood strong for me. People who despite having so many things they could do with their time chose to spend every evening with me, talking to, pacifying, running errands, attending to customers and making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Wrapstar will never be where it is today without them.

"I thought I was depressed then ate shawarma and now I'm fine, guys eat Wrapstar shawarma"

Someone else said "I thought I was depressed then late shawarma and now I'm fine, guys eat Wrapstar shawarma" If you are single and we are not your go to food plug to eradicate your depression then you are wrong You are not depressed, you just need to eat shawarma. We can brag about being the best in Kwasu today but certain people put in the work without any expectation of a reward cos at that moment I didn't have anything to offer. No brand can survive without support, no one can be made without the help of others. Wrapstar is a testament of how a dream can become a force when people love you enough to believe the dream and put in their time. I know I have never really celebrated them but they have my heart always. Some are still with me while some for certain reasons are no more in contact with me. Majority are graduates today or will be graduating in coming days. Honestly I don't know hw to feel bout not being sure if i will ever see them again.

Appreciation

Saying Wrapstar got here cos I was so smart or dedicated alone will be delusion at its peak. There is a reason I don't always address yall as customers but as a Family. Wrapstar is a product of the collective effort of a lot of people. There are people who post the brand's flier and link everyday and they have been doing it for 2yrs now. To those of you who likes to insult your customers, friends, fight them over everything you should do better. Your skill alone is not enough, you need people. Eh "wrapstar but I don't like nonsense that's why I don't keep friends" my dear you need people. People who will love you enough to put in their time and energy into whatever you believe even if it doesn't make sense to them. People who will stand by you when you are down, people who will be there to celebrate with you when you are up. People who will be there to tell you the truth even if it hurts. People who will be there to tell you that your food is not good enough and you need to do better. People who will be there to tell you that your service is not good enough and you need to do better. People who will be there to tell you that your attitude is not good enough and you need to do better. People who will be there to tell you that your business is not good enough and you need to do better. They love you so they will help you and do whatever it takes for you. Look around you even within malete, brands in every niche that has a large customer base have people who dedicate their time to support them. Customers that became friends and friends that became family. Ray? Wrapstar? Oyincakes? Zee? DML? Just look. There are no selfmade person/brand anywhere, we are all a summation of people's kindness. Whatever you do, you need people. Peace love shawarma ✌️ ❤️🌟
